Shelby SuperCars (SSC), an American supercar company and the creator of the ‘Ultimate Aero’, is set to launch the $740,000 ’2010 Ultimate Aero’. Shelby SuperCars are Customised and road-tested to suit the harsh weather conditions, the ’2010 Ultimate Aero’ runs on an exclusive SSC-designed, one-piece billet aluminum twin turbo V8 engine block designed to improve structural integrity and oiling capabilities while improving durability.
The next Aero TT, as it will likely be called, also gets carbon fiber wheels, a triple-disc carbon clutch, and, as with all modern supercars, optional paddle shifters. Shelby Acclaimed as the fastest production car in the world, the new supercar model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds and is capable of a top speed of 439 km/h (273 mph). Bringing this exceptional new offering from SSC to the region is Ultimate Motors, one of the leading distributors of exotic and luxury sports cars.
The next Aero TT, as it will likely be called, also gets carbon fiber wheels, a triple-disc carbon clutch, and, as with all modern supercars, optional paddle shifters. The performance gurus at Shelby Super Cars have seriously upped the ante with their newest introduction into the supercar fray: the Shelby Aero EV. Powered by an All-Electric Scalable Powertrain (AESP), the SSC Aero EV is capable of producing 1,000 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque.
Leaving former hybrid performance heavyweights like the Tesla Roadster in the dust, the Shelby Aero EV also boasts the ability to sprint from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds before maxing out at 208 mph. Shaving hours off the Roadster’s 3-hour recharge time, the SSC Aero EV’s 150-200 mile-range battery can be fully recharged via a standard 220V outlet in a mere 10 minutes. Scheduled to begin production during the fourth quarter of 2009, pre-production prototypes of the SSC Ultimate Aero EV are expected to debut in June. No word yet on how much one of SSC’s mean green machines will cost, but if previous history is anything to go on, expect it to hurt.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
